This is a small cottage in the middle of a Wood; here in the kitchen, there is the smell of baking bread and coffee, as well as the smell of vanilla from the candle burning on the counter. A note has been left on the table...

There are four exits from the Kitchen: a curtained archway to the east has a picture of a book inscribed on the capstone of its arch, the door that leads to other dwellings in the Wood, and a wooden doorway carved with vines that leads out into the Wood.
