Maintained university UNIX systems, installed and upgraded software packages to the most current versions, bugtested. Assisted in various security issues, patched broken software as it occurred. Evaluated various web-analysis tools and software. Created and implemented standards for all machines built & maintained by group, expanded control over servers via CFengine. Began process of automating patch-retrieval and notification.

Set up server, established account-request protocols, created accounts, troubleshot account problems, assisted user web-page design, researched web design, archived the system, trained new system administrators. Learned WebStar and MacOS; student web server ran on a PowerMac 6150/66.
