Jon Lasser- A friend and my personal computer guru. Jer Welter-One of my best friends in the entire universe. He's the one that got me into computer music. And innumerable other things. His page contains interesting tidbits, as well as music, web design and writing samples. He kicks way more ass than you probably do, so go to his page and learn to be like him when you grow up. Rebecca Pickard-I have been friends with this being for approximately ever (at least since middle school. She is a gamer, and a singer, and she boings, and she rocks! She is another person to learn to be like. Janet Hanseth- I met Janet at a Christian summer camp something like 11 years ago. Since then, we've proceeded through various stages of faith and dissolusionment together. Although we stopped going to the same camp just a few years after we met, and although we never went to remotely the same school and despite the fact that I am horrible about these sorts of things, we have managed to keep in touch. I have the key to Janet's mother's house, even though I don't have the key to my own. Janet is a computer geek, now, and occasionally she has blue hair. It really bugs her if, while she's visiting a lesser institution, you point out relentlessly to everyone who walks within twenty feet of you that she goes to Harvard. Mark Crouse- My brother. He's a guy with lots of ambition and the drive, intelligence, strength and tenacious perseverance to see it through. That's my thoroughly objective opinion, of course. He postulated to me, at some point, that me linking him would get him in decently on Google. Well, we shall see. Adam Badik- A friend from the old alma mater, who now lives in a very lovely apartment in Santa Barbara, CA, where I have not yet visited him, but plan to... The link is to badik.net, which has links to his whole family. Check out his dad's telescope! It rocks. I saw ice caps on mars and rings on saturn through that telescope the last time I visited Adam. It was the coolest starwatching I've ever done. Maurissa Jones- Maurissa learned HTML in one morning, and now has a page that looks nicer than mine. She is a fiend. Richard Vasquez (infamously known as MazelTov)- Here we have the first #callahans person to get to be on my "folks I know page" because I actually met him in the flesh (as opposed to the #Cers on my "folks I don't know" site). Richard is an interesting and intelligent guy with a crusade against scientology and a peculiar predeliction for penguins. He once put up with me for almost three whole days when I couldn't even communicate properly (I had lost my voice) so humor me and go look at his page. You don't have to actually read it if you don't want. Just pretend you did...but don't tell him I said that. Eli Simon - AKA Thermopyle or RecentConvert. I made this homepage for Eli, because I was sick of him not having one. He is still staunchly refusing to make a homepage himself, so we may have to get some nude shots of him up or something. On the other hand, he recently lent me a keyboard when I was going through all my compucrap recently, and also listened to epic accounts in the style of Homer about what I'd done to the damn thing without getting it to work, so maybe we'll be kind. Mei-Ling Johnson - A gaming friend of mine who never even told me she had a webpage! I found it searching for my own name on google!
Jeff Miller - He's every bit as witty, charming and plesant as his emails would suggest, but he's taller than you might expect. Rosser S. Farley III - My stepfather, infamously known as Bob. I didn't even know he had a dotcom till quite recently, but that's ok, because he didn't know I had a dotcom either. Dave Duditch - aka the Janitor of Lunacy for, uh...reasons that will become glaringly obvious. Erin Patterson - She's an intelligent, international superspy. No! Wait! I mean scenester. Erin is one of the Baltimore friends who probably has the most sanity, per capita, of any of us. Steph Simon-Dack - A dear, dear friend who is, unfortunately (for me) currently doing lots of post-undergrad schooling in South Carolina. She has fun stuff like the syndrome of the week. Peter Bagnell - So, this is a guy that I work with now. He went to school at my alma mater, graduating a few years ahead of me. I actually hang out with him a lot more now than I did then, though. He's a geek of such geek mastery that he has actually given me thirty minute lectures (yes, more than one) on the geography, biology and political history of Middle Earth. Jen Lindsay Stevens - AKA author Jenn Crowell, a gaming friend from good ol' Goucher. She once brought me stickey toffee pudding all the way from London just because I asked. She's very into iceland, for some reason. She's a great conversationalist and, oh yeah, she writes novels. Good novels.
